P530 non-magnetic steel is a kind of high Mn-AL-V non-magnetic steel, chemical composition determines the electromagnetic properties, stable organization, excellent mechanical properties, low permeability and high resistivity, eddy current loss in the magnetic field is very small, in the magnetic field strength of 16000a/m (200 Aust), the magnetic permeability of non-magnetic steel μ≤1.319×10-6 h/m (1.05 high / Aust) stainless steel permeability μ=1.339×10-6h/m (1.1 high/au), austenitic stainless steel is mildly magnetic after cold working. Non-magnetic steel can maintain stable austenite in various states, with very low magnetic permeability, high hardness, strength, and good wear resistance. Due to the cold work hardening phenomenon of high manganese steel, cutting and machining is difficult. Using high temperature annealing process, the particle size, shape and distribution state of carbide can be changed, thus significantly improving the cutting performance of non-magnetic steel.
P530 non-magnetic steel uses a gas soft oxidation process to further improve the surface hardness of non-magnetic steel, increasing wear resistance and significantly improving the service life of the parts. Non-magnetic steel is suitable for the manufacture of non-magnetic molds, non-magnetic bearings and other structural parts that require no magnetic induction in strong magnetic fields. In addition, because of its high temperature strength and hardness, non-magnetic steel can also be used to make hot work molds for use below 700°C-800°C.
P530 non-magnetic steel maintains stable austenite in all states and has very low magnetic permeability, high strength, hardness, and wear resistance, but poor machinability.
