After a tense half-year working time, our boss, Ms Folance, arranged a tour for all employees. From August 14th to 17th, we spent four pleasant days in Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province.
We passed through beautiful, tall, and steep natural attractions and experienced the unique local humanistic feelings:
Tianmenshan National Forest Park is named after the natural wonder “Tianmen Cave”. When visiting the scenic spot, we took a telpher of about 7,500 meters and saw the beautiful scenery in the mountains. There are also glass planks, high-altitude stone bridges and so on. In the evening, we watched the musical “Tianmen Fox Fairy”. The story is adapted from the myth and legend “Woodcutter Liu Hai”. It is a touching love between humans and foxes.
Yuanjiajie Scenic Area is a high mountain platform, where there are lush trees, misty, and beautiful scenery of mountain peaks. The most famous attraction is Qiankun Pillar, the location of the suspended mountain “Hallelujah Mountain” in the movie “Avatar”. In addition, there are also major attractions such as the majestic Ecstasy and the First Bridge in the world.
The local architecture is represented by the Tusi Castle in western Hunan, where you can experience the style and features of the Tujia cottage and the wonderful Tujia folk customs. There is China’s largest and tallest wooden structure stilt building. We watched the ancient dance of the Tujia nationality when we played. Finally, we took the train back to Changsha after eating the local food.
This tour brought us a relaxing experience in our minds, followed up the feelings between us, and left beautiful memories!
