Introduction
High temperature bolt steel is a specialized material designed for applications requiring high strength and excellent creep resistance at elevated temperatures. These steels are specifically engineered to maintain their mechanical properties under sustained loads at high temperatures, typically ranging from 400°C to 650°C.
FUSHUN METAL regularly produces and maintains stock of heat and creep resistant materials used for turbine bolts, valve components and other high temperature applications. We have over 400 tonnes of material in stock ranging from 16mm diameter through to 350mm diameter with some grades in square, flat, hexagon & sheet.
We manufacture the following dimensions:
Diameter: 20 – 1200 mm

Manufacturing Process
The steel be produced by the following processes: electric-furnace, ESR electroslag remelting or vacuum-induction melting (VIM). The molten steel may be vacuum-treated prior to or during pouring of the ingot or strand casting.
Inspection & quality control
Every forging manufactured by FUSHUN METAL is fully inspected by our inspectors and when accepted given a coat of anti-rust protection and packed for transport. Every forging is supplied with a certificate of conformity and dimensional report. The certificate of conformity contains the results of all the mechanical tests, chemical analysis and heat treatment cycles. NTD and test reports will be also provided.
High-Temperature Tests
Tests to determine high temperature properties shall be made in accordance with Test Methods E21, E139, and 292 and Practices E150 and E151.
Charpy Impact Tests
Charpy impact tests based on the requirements of Specification A 320/A 320M Sections 6 and 7
