High-quality High-precision Bimetal Band Saw Blade – Suitable For Die Steel And Stainless Steel
The bimetallic band saw blade mainly refers to a metal cutting band saw blade made of high-speed steel or other high-performance steel as the tooth tip material, and a low-alloy spring steel metal cutting band saw blade.
Bimetal Band Saw Blade Use
This saw blade has a wide range of uses and can be used with any type of band saw. It is suitable for continuous sawing of almost all types of metal, such as : structural steel, weathering steel, alloy steel, bearing steel, stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, aluminum alloy, Die steel etc.
Bimetal Band Saw Blade Feature
The material characteristics of the bimetal band saw blade are bimetal structure : B318 back material, high fatigue strength ; M42 tooth material, 8% cobalt content, tooth hardness HRC67-69 .
The main advantages of bimetal band saw blades are :
- High wear resistance and high red hardness ;
- The serration is not easy to break ;
- Long service life.
Our product advantages:
1 High-speed steel tooth tip material : The tooth tip material adopts imported M42 and M51 for users to choose . Through a unique heat treatment process , the tooth tip hardness can reach HRC69~70 .
2 Upgraded tooth profile design : Continuously optimize and upgrade the tooth profile design , the deep tooth groove has a larger chip space , strong cutting ability , and high versatility of the split tooth design.
3 Complete specifications and models : the width of the saw blade is fully covered from 13mm to 80mm , with standard teeth, turtle teeth, tensile teeth, combined teeth, double rear angle teeth, and customized teeth to meet the sawing requirements of different steels.
Product parameters:
- Basic section normal section : The basic section is composed of the width and thickness of the band saw blade, expressed by ” width X thickness ” . At present, the common basic section models of bimetallic band saw blades (mm): 13 width * 0.65 thickness ; 19 width * 0.65 thickness ; 19 width * 0.90 thickness ; 27 width * 0.90 thickness ; 34 width * 1.10 thickness ; 41 width * 1.30 thickness ; 54 Width * 1.60 thickness ; 67 width * 1.60 thickness ; 80 width * 1.60 thickness , the length of the saw blade depends on the size of the sawing machine !
- Root zone Bandsaw Welded Loop : The customer need and supply agreement, the length of the band saw blade is formed in a ring welded finished product.
- Dribbling Tray Blade : After the saw blade factory complete without re-boxed band saw blade welding.
- Tooth Tooth of the type : appearance with a serrated blade, the domestic market saw blade tooth usually divided into : conventional teeth, the angle of the teeth, tooth Turtle, tensile teeth . Common pitches are : 2/3 , 3/4 , 4/6 , 5/8 , 6/10 , 8-12 , 1.5T-1.9T , 1.1T-14T

Bimetal Band Saw Blade Usage Notice
- Before installation, check the direction of the saw teeth in detail to ensure that the cutting direction is consistent with the direction of rotation of the band saw.
- Check whether the tooth profile and number of teeth of the saw band are consistent with the diameter of the material to be cut.
- Adjust the tension of the saw band to be moderate. Too tight is easy to break the band, too loose is easy to break the teeth and cut oblique.
- The concentration of cutting fluid is adjusted according to the material to be cut, carbon steel is to be thin and stainless steel is to be thick. And it is replaced regularly.
- All new saw blades must be run-in before cutting. When changing materials, raise the saw blade to a certain height to avoid breaking the saw teeth
Running-in method of band saw blade
The new saw blade must be run-in before it is officially used. The service life of a saw blade that has not run-in or is not run-in is 1/3 or less of that of a run-in saw blade .
- The feed rate during the running-in period is 20-30% of the normal feed rate . Gradually improve to normal cutting within 2-4 hours. Do not increase the feed rate and belt speed too much each time
- The running-in period is about 5-10% of the expected life .
